The main message of Hebrews is something like this: Jesus has no comparison in the universe, he is without equal in value and power And while, on one hand, he is the great savior of his people, he is also the great judge to whom everyone must give an account. To fall away from, betray, or neglect Jesus is utterly deadly to your soul. Therefore, no matter how hard, difficult, or perilous life is, keep looking to and loving Jesus. Or put more simply: Jesus is better; God’s wrath is deadly; keep looking to Jesus.
